Acrylic is the industry accepted material used in the making of number plates.

 

All materials supplied by Sandhurst Autoprint meet or exceed the British Standard

BSAU145e, which dictates not only the thickness of each number plate to be 3.1mm +/- 0.5mm, but lays down strict guidelines on the flexibility and impact resistance of the materials.

 

The majority of our acrylic is laminated at source to avoid contamination and the standard (520x111) size is pre-boxed in quantities of 50 or 100 for ease of handling.
